Recovery Efforts Underway
In the days following the typhoon, rail and flight operations have started to resume in Eastern Japan. As of early June 2026, recovery efforts are ongoing, aiming to progressively restore transport connectivity in the affected areas. Although services are gradually returning to normal, travelers continue to experience disruptions and delays amid these rebuilding measures.
