Belgium’s national railway company, SNCB, is increasing the capacity of its maintenance facilities at the Forest TGV workshop located in Forest, Belgium. This expansion focuses on improving the servicing infrastructure for high-speed trains operating within and beyond Belgium’s borders.
The enlargement of the Forest TGV workshop is intended to back the accelerating volume of cross-border rail travel across Europe. By upgrading maintenance capabilities, SNCB aims to better accommodate the operational demands of high-speed international train services.
