Radisson Hotel Group signed and opened 160 hotels representing more than 22,000 rooms worldwide in the first half of 2026. This expansion spans luxury, lifestyle, upscale, resort, conversion, and mixed-use projects across multiple continents.

In Europe, Radisson signed Radisson Collection Hotel Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside. Additional new properties launched in Austria, Germany, and Poland. The Middle East saw openings including Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Barsha Heights, Radisson Collection Residences Riyadh, and Radisson Blu Hotel Almaty Airport.
Resort and Lifestyle Growth in Leisure and Asia Pacific

Sustainability Initiatives and Verified Net Zero Expansion
Radisson continues to grow its Verified Net Zero programme, planning 10 additional hotels across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The group will introduce its first Verified Net Zero hotel in South Africa. Les Loges at Cour des Loges Lyon, a Radisson Collection Hotel, earned its first Michelin star since reopening, reflecting the brand’s culinary recognition.
Growth in Africa, China, and India Markets
Radisson surpassed 100 hotels operating or under development in Africa, marking a key
expansion region. In China, the group manages over 260 hotels across various brands, with pipeline projects in Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, and other Tier Two to Four cities. India remains a fastest-growing market with 22 hotels signed or opened in H1 2026, currently operating 142 hotels with more than 15,500 rooms across 86 cities. Its India Vision 2030 strategy targets 500 hotels within five years.
The group’s growth in Asia Pacific is supported by rising travel demand, population growth, and investor confidence, further evidenced by the opening of LIME Resort Bohol, the first Radisson Individuals Premier property in Southeast Asia Pacific.
Radisson’s expansion across established and emerging markets during the first half of 2026 reflects a focus on brand diversification, sustainable hospitality, and strategic market development.
