Radisson Hotel Group signed and opened 160 hotels worldwide during the first six months of 2026, increasing its portfolio by over 22,000 keys across multiple hotel segments including luxury, lifestyle, upscale, resort, conversion, and mixed-use projects.
Regional Openings and Signings
In the Middle East and Africa, Radisson opened key properties such as Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Barsha Heights, Radisson Collection Residences in Riyadh, and Radisson Blu Hotel at Almaty Airport. Africa now hosts over 100 Radisson hotels either operational or in development.
Across Europe, Radisson signed prominent hotels including Radisson Collection Hotel in Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside, with additional openings
in Austria, Germany, and Poland. The group’s resort portfolio expanded with new properties in Tenerife and Phuket. Radisson Individuals increased operations in Greece and Spain, while lifestyle and luxury brands debuted Radisson RED hotels in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Turkey. Radisson Collection also grew in gateway cities such as Lake Como.
Asia Pacific saw strategic growth, particularly in China where more than 260 Radisson hotels operate across brands like Country Inn & Suites, Park Inn, and Radisson RED. Key development cities include Wuhan, Beijing, Chongqing, and numerous emerging Tier 2 to Tier 4 cities. Radisson RED opened its first
property in New Zealand with Radisson RED Auckland, and LIME Resort Bohol joined Radisson Individuals Premier marking the group’s initial presence in Southeast Asia Pacific. India remains a key growth market with 22 hotels signed and opened in H1 2026, pushing the development pipeline close to 100 properties. Radisson currently manages 142 hotels with more than 15,500 keys in 86 Indian cities and aims to reach 500 hotels by 2030 through its India Vision 2030 strategy.
Sustainability Initiatives and Recognition
Radisson expanded its Verified Net Zero initiative by adding 10 hotels across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and its first property in South
Africa. Les Loges at Cour des Loges Lyon, a Radisson Collection Hotel, earned a Michelin star just 10 months after reopening, underscoring the group’s focus on quality and excellence.
