Peachtree Group announced the grand opening in early November 2026 of a 264-room dual-branded AC Hotel Dallas Uptown and Moxy Dallas Uptown located in the Uptown district of Dallas, Texas. The property contains 110 guestrooms under the AC Hotel brand and 154 guestrooms under the Moxy brand.

Development Partnership and Hotel Features

Developed by Peachtree Group in conjunction with Phoenix Development Partners and operated through Peachtree’s hospitality management division, the property combines AC Hotels’ European-inspired design and Moxy’s lifestyle-focused experience. The two brands share amenities including a 1,000-square-foot fitness center, flexible meeting and event spaces, and High Point, a signature rooftop bar featuring indoor and

outdoor gathering areas and a 16-by-9-foot LED wall for events and game-day viewing.

Economic Context Driving Hospitality Demand

Dallas is attracting significant corporate investment, particularly in financial services, reinforcing its position as a leading U.S. business destination. Financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Scotiabank, Jefferies Financial Group, and UBS are expanding operations in the city. Uptown Dallas, at the center of this economic growth, is creating strong demand for business travel and hospitality services.

Executive Insights on Strategic Value

Greg Friedman, CEO and Managing Principal of Peachtree Group, said, “Dallas continues to attract significant corporate investment, particularly in financial services, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s

leading business destinations.” He noted Uptown’s growth creates an attractive environment for hospitality investment and that combining AC Hotel and Moxy allows serving a broader range of travelers with a distinctive hospitality experience. John Schellhase, Vice President of Investments at Peachtree Group, described Dallas as a market with tremendous long-term opportunity and expressed pride in supporting Uptown’s growth and vitality. Vickie Callahan, President of Peachtree’s hospitality management division, stated, “The combination of AC Hotel and Moxy allows us to appeal to a broader range of travelers while creating operational efficiencies and a more dynamic guest experience.” Marriott International’s Global Development

Officer, Noah Silverman, was present at the opening ceremony.

Peachtree’s Texas Hospitality Portfolio

This opening adds to Peachtree Group’s growing Texas portfolio, which includes the recently opened 171-room Residence Inn San Antonio Riverwalk and the forthcoming 480-room dual-branded Embassy Suites by Hilton and Tempo by Hilton in downtown Austin. These developments align with regional trends driven by North Texas’s population growth, corporate relocations, and expanding financial services sector.
