The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has unveiled a new Micro-credential Programme designed to provide tourism professionals with industry-relevant skills training. This initiative addresses the growing need for specialized education within the travel and hospitality sectors across the Asia Pacific region.

With a focus on sustainable tourism, the Micro-credential Programme seeks to support responsible practices and strengthen cooperation among international travel and hospitality markets. Through this programme, PATA aims to contribute to the development of skills that align with sustainability objectives and the evolving demands of the tourism industry.

In parallel with this educational launch, PATA has implemented a comprehensive

refresh of its board. The updated leadership structure is intended to bolster ongoing efforts in sustainable tourism collaboration, enhancing partnerships across diverse international markets.
