A partial collapse affecting the Nuneaton Rugby Bridge has been reported, resulting in challenges for rail services operating on the West Coast Main Line in the United Kingdom. This infrastructure damage is located at a key point along one of the country’s busiest railway routes.
In response to the issues caused by the bridge’s partial collapse, trains running on the West Coast Main Line are now required to travel at reduced speeds when passing through the affected section. These speed limitations have led to noticeable service disruptions, with some delays impacting the line’s usual schedule.
