The 2026 World Travel Industry Conference (WTIC) took place in Seoul and Suwon, South Korea, during early June. Among the participants, the Nepal Tourism Board alongside seven Nepali companies presented their long-stay tourism offerings to the Asian travel market.
Focusing on extended stays, Nepal emphasized the attraction of Himalayan experiences and cultural engagement as key elements of its promotion at the WTIC gatherings. The initiative aimed to showcase Nepal’s potential as a destination for travelers seeking more immersive and prolonged visits.
For travelers considering long-term travel opportunities, Nepal’s presence at WTIC 2026 highlighted options for exploring its distinctive landscapes and
heritage over extended periods. The event provided a platform to introduce these experiences to a broader regional audience interested in in-depth travel experiences.
