Nepal participated prominently in the Travel and Tourism World WTIC 2026 events hosted in Seoul and Suwon, presenting its tourism prospects to the Asian travel market. The presence at these events signaled Nepal’s ongoing effort to engage with travel professionals and potential visitors within the region through focused promotional activities.
At WTIC 2026, Nepal’s tourism promotion centered on the potential for long-stay tourism options combined with opportunities for Himalayan adventure travel. This approach aimed to showcase Nepal’s unique appeal to travelers interested in extended visits that offer both cultural experiences and outdoor exploration in the Himalayan region.
Seven Nepali tourism
companies joined forces with the Nepal Tourism Board during the event to promote these offerings. Their participation at both Seoul and Suwon venues highlighted Nepal’s commitment to reaching diverse Asian markets with tailored tourism experiences that emphasize both long-duration stays and adventure tourism.
