Mexico has emerged as the leading market in North America for travel and tourism growth in 2025, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). The country surpassed its regional neighbors, the United States and Canada, across key tourism indicators for the year.

Specifically, Mexico recorded the highest number of visitor arrivals within North America and achieved the greatest tourism spending among these countries in 2025. This performance highlights Mexico’s prominent role in the region’s tourism sector expansion during this period.
