Mexico is leading North America in travel and tourism gross domestic product growth for 2025, according to data reported by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). This positions the country ahead of both the United States and Canada in this key economic measurement for the region’s tourism sector.
In addition to GDP growth, Mexico also records higher visitor arrivals and greater tourism spending than its North American neighbors. The WTTC report highlights that Mexico has outperformed the US and Canada across these important tourism metrics for the year.
