Major US Airports Face Hundreds of Flight Delays and Cancellations

Widespread flight delays and cancellations are impacting multiple major airports across the United States, causing disruptions for a number of airlines and passengers. Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport has reported over 200 flight delays alongside more than 20 cancellations, affecting carriers such as Delta, United, American, Southwest, and SkyWest Airlines. Similarly, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport is managing a comparable level of delays with over 200 flights delayed and several cancellations.

Further east, Newark Liberty International Airport is currently facing substantial operational challenges, with flight delays numbering in the high 200s and dozens of cancellations. Indianapolis International Airport has also

experienced notable travel disruption, reporting close to 80 delays and over 20 cancellations, involving Republic Airways, Southwest, American, and United Airlines among others. Miami International Airport joins these airports in reporting a significant number of delays and cancellations impacting American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Iberia, and other carriers.

Orlando International Airport has recorded more than 180 flight delays and a number of cancellations involving carriers such as Southwest, JetBlue, American, and Frontier. Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is also dealing with numerous delays and cancellations affecting Allegiant, JetBlue, United, American, and Southwest Airlines. These disruptions have affected flight paths to several

key domestic and international destinations, including Chicago, New York, Dallas, Washington DC, Atlanta, Toronto, Tampa, and cities in Europe such as London and Frankfurt.
