Approximately 80% of participants will be from the Americas, while 20% will represent international markets from Africa, Asia, and Europe. Confirmed international participants include African Showcase, Hangzhou Youge Travel Agency (China), CREVEN Korea, Egypt, Thailand, and the Slovenia Tourism Board. These confirmations reflect the event’s role as a gateway linking the Americas with global travel markets.

Event Purpose and Industry Significance

In a statement, Vicente Salas Hesselbach, VP and Managing Director Americas at Messe Berlin, said, “ITB Americas was created to bring the Americas travel industry together in a way that has never existed before.” The event focuses on quality over quantity, fostering meaningful senior-level business relationships and strategic partnerships. Founding exhibitors are setting the foundation for a new travel marketplace across the Americas, addressing the needs of suppliers and destinations for measurable commercial outcomes.

Conference and Hosted Buyers Program

The ITB Americas Conference will feature over 40 sessions on topics such as artificial intelligence, digital distribution, sustainability, and emerging technologies. This program aims to provide

industry executives and innovators with insights into challenges and trends shaping the future of travel in the Americas. A Hosted Buyers Program will connect exhibitors with qualified international travel buyers aligned with their commercial goals, enhancing direct business engagement.

Strategic Role of ITB Americas for the Travel Industry

ITB Americas was established to fill a longstanding gap by integrating North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean in one strategic marketplace. The event offers a unified platform for destinations and travel companies to access regional and international markets efficiently. By combining regional strength with global reach, ITB Americas is designed as both a meeting place for stakeholders within

the Americas and a bridge to opportunities from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
