The 2026 International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) is set to take place from August 27 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
The event will connect more than 260 international buyers with over 500 tourism companies and brands, facilitating upwards of 21,000 business-to-business meetings during the three-day expo.
Key participants include international travel and tourism groups such as TUI Group, DERTOUR, Flight Centre Travel Group, Trip.com, Goway, Thomas Cook, Ignite Travel Group, Remote Lands, and Uniworld TTC. The
expo also features companies specializing in MICE tourism, conferences, events, and multinational corporations from various sectors.
Scheduled just days before Vietnam’s National Day holiday on September 2, 2026, the expo aims to stimulate tourism demand by providing local businesses with direct access to global markets and supporting new tourism product development.
In 2026’s first eight months, Ho Chi Minh City drew 7.77 million international visitors, marking a 38.5% increase compared to the previous year. During the same period, tourism revenue reached nearly VND260 trillion ($9.88 billion), up 48.8% year on year, according to VnEconomy.
