The 2026 International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) is scheduled from August 27 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), according to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
The event will assemble more than 260 international buyers alongside over 500 tourism companies and brands. Organizers have set more than 21,000 business-to-business meetings during the expo.
Leading global travel groups confirmed to participate include TUI Group, DERTOUR, Flight Centre Travel Group, Trip.com, Goway, Thomas Cook, Ignite Travel Group, Remote Lands, and Uniworld TTC.
ITE HCMC aims to enable local tourism enterprises to access
international markets directly. The expo also facilitates the development of new tourism products and attracts diverse visitor segments.
Scheduled shortly before Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, the event is expected to stimulate additional tourism demand during the holiday period.
From January to August 2026, Ho Chi Minh City recorded 7.77 million international visitors, up 38.5% year over year. Tourism revenue in the city reached nearly VND260 trillion ($9.88 billion), marking a 48.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
The expo will feature companies specializing in meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE), alongside multinational corporations from various sectors.
The convergence of the event ahead of the National Day holiday is projected to expand travel demand and provide visitors with new tourism options via the introduction of novel products and market segments.
