ITE HCMC 2026 is the 20th edition of the Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo, scheduled from 27 to 29 August 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event is Vietnam’s largest international travel expo, featuring more than 520 exhibitors and 260 high-level international buyers from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
Organisation and Partners
The expo is organised under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Joint organisers include the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism,
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center, and C.I.S Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition Joint Stock Company. Corporate partners and participating organisations include Google, Mastercard, EuroCham, Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO), UN Tourism, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), and the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).
B2B Engagement and Networking
Approximately 21,000 pre-scheduled B2B appointments are planned across the three-day event, an eight-fold increase compared with the expo’s early years. The hosted buyers programme brings 260 designated international buyers, making it the only one of its kind in Vietnam. Networking activities commence on 26
August with a Buyers-Sellers Speed Dating event, followed by B2B Business Matching sessions on 27 and 28 August.
Forum, Tourism Ministers’ Meetings and Thematic Focus
The expo features a Tourism Forum on 27 August titled “Shaping the Future of MICE Tourism: Innovation, Sustainability and Global Connectivity”. Simultaneously, Ho Chi Minh City hosts three regional Tourism Ministers’ Meetings under Mekong subregional co-operation frameworks. The thematic content addresses trends such as artificial intelligence, destination brand management, medical tourism, and tourism technology start-ups.
Public Programme and Background
Public-facing programmes at ITE HCMC 2026 include artistic performances, cultural exchanges, culinary experiences, and interactive activities. Since its inception in 2005, the expo has grown significantly in
scale and quality, becoming a key platform for tourism market development in Vietnam and the region.

Over the three days of the event, Ho Chi Minh City is honoured to host the Tourism Ministers’ Meetings of Mekong subregional co-operation frameworks, while also bringing together a series of thematic forums addressing the trends shaping the future of tourism, including
artificial intelligence (AI), destination brand management, medical tourism and tourism technology start-ups.”
