ITB Berlin 2027 is scheduled for March 16 to 18 at Messe Berlin. Due to the upcoming construction of dock9 on the site of the former Hall 9, the event’s hall layout will be adjusted to accommodate ongoing building work and optimize the use of available space.
Relocation of Exhibitors to CityCube Berlin
Exhibitors previously assigned to Halls 7.1c, 8.1, 9, and 10.1 will be relocated to CityCube Berlin. For the first time, CityCube Berlin will be incorporated as an exhibition hall for ITB Berlin, providing additional, technologically advanced floor space and expanding the venue’s capacity.
Dock9 Construction Timeline and Exhibition Grounds Modernization
Demolition of the existing Hall 9 will begin in October
2026 to clear the way for dock9, a new multi-purpose conference and event centre. This construction is part of a long-term modernization plan for the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
Objectives of the New Hall Layout for ITB Berlin 2027
The revised hall layout aims to create theme-oriented clusters that reduce distances between related exhibitors and improve clarity for visitors. This design is intended to facilitate easier navigation and strengthen the alignment of content between exhibitors.
Coordination and Communication with Exhibitors
ITB Berlin officials are coordinating exhibitor relocations in stages, with final stand assignments expected by late 2026. Communications will include updated hall maps, clear on-site signage, and notifications through the ITB app and digital channels to
support affected partners.
CityCube Berlin’s Infrastructure and Access Benefits
CityCube Berlin features separate East and West entrances, a designated taxi drop-off zone, and proximity to the Messe Süd S-Bahn station. Its modern infrastructure suits larger and more technically demanding stands, increasing the exhibition’s capacity and flexibility.
Exhibitor Support Amid Venue Changes
Exhibitors impacted by the hall relocations will receive individual support as plans develop. The staged reallocation process is designed to accommodate specific exhibitor needs while enhancing the overall exhibition layout for ITB Berlin 2027.
