Event Organization and Leadership Statement
ITB Americas 2026 is organized by Messe Berlin to deliver a unified platform for the Americas travel sector. Vicente Salas Hesselbach, VP and Managing Director Americas at Messe Berlin, said, “ITB Americas was created to bring the Americas travel industry together in a way that has never existed before. The commitment we are seeing from destinations, brands and partners confirms that
the industry is looking for a focused business platform built around quality connections, strategic partnerships and meaningful market access.” Founding exhibitors are actively shaping the market’s future from the event’s outset.
Conference Programming and Business Engagement
Alongside the exhibition, the ITB Americas Conference will feature over 40 sessions addressing key issues such as artificial intelligence, digital distribution, sustainability, and emerging travel technologies. The event’s Hosted Buyers Program connects exhibitors with carefully qualified international travel buyers to ensure targeted commercial opportunities.
Market Positioning and Industry Role
By combining a strong presence from destinations across North, Central, and South America with international participation, ITB Americas will act as both a regional meeting
point and a gateway to the global travel market. The event focuses on quality business relations and senior-level engagements rather than mass attendance. Its establishment fills an ongoing gap by providing the Americas with a dedicated, strategic B2B trade platform designed for long-term industry collaboration.
