India’s first bullet train project, led by Prime Minister Modi, is now scheduled to officially launch in 2027. This follows multiple years of delay in the development of the high-speed rail initiative.
Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor and Construction Activity
The project involves a 508-kilometer high-speed rail corridor connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Active construction work is currently underway at the project site in Boisar as part of the overall Mumbai-Ahmedabad rail development.
