India has introduced plans for a bullet train route that will link the national capital Delhi with Siliguri, aiming to shorten the travel duration between these two cities.
According to the details released, the proposed high-speed rail line will make stops in key cities along the way, including Lucknow, Varanasi, and Patna. These intermediate stations are positioned to serve major urban centers in the region.
Once operational, the bullet train service is expected to reduce travel time on this route to approximately six hours, a significant decrease compared to current options.
