The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has issued a forecast indicating that European aviation will face a challenging summer season in 2026. The organization anticipates a rise in operational difficulties across the continent’s air transport sector during the peak travel period.
Significant disruptions in the form of flight cancellations and delays are expected at major airports throughout Europe. These issues are primarily attributed to operational and capacity limitations that could affect airline schedules and passenger movements during the busiest travel months.
