On July 7, 2026, a substantial number of flight cancellations and delays occurred across five US states including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida. A total of 387 flights were cancelled while an additional 511 flights experienced delays.
Several major airlines were notably affected, with JetBlue, Delta, United, and American Airlines bearing a significant portion of the disruptions. These operational interruptions led to thousands of passengers being stranded, creating widespread travel challenges within the affected regions.
