Hilton Hotels & Resorts remains the most valuable luxury hotel brand globally with a brand value of USD 19.2 billion, marking a 28% increase. Taj Hotels holds the title of the strongest luxury hotel brand worldwide, achieving a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 93.5 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating, according to Brand Finance’s Hotels 50 2026 report published on 23 July 2026.

Hilton’s Luxury Portfolio Drives Growth

Hilton’s brand value growth is supported by its luxury hotel portfolio, which includes Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and NoMad Hotels. Its expansion into globally high-demand luxury destinations reinforces its

premium positioning and high-quality hospitality reputation, earning Hilton a BSI score of 87.1 and an AAA brand strength rating. The brand’s diverse luxury offerings contribute to its sustained appeal among affluent travelers worldwide.

Hyatt’s Position as Second Most Valuable Luxury Brand

Hyatt ranks as the second most valuable luxury hotel brand with a brand value of USD 7.5 billion, down 6% from the previous assessment. Its luxury portfolio features Park Hyatt, Alila, Miraval, and Andaz brands, catering to personalized and experiential travel demand. Hyatt’s development pipeline includes 148,000 rooms, and its World of Hyatt loyalty program has approximately 63 million members, supporting the brand’s expansion in major global

luxury travel markets.

Marriott’s Strategic Growth and Loyalty Ecosystem

Marriott ranks third in luxury hotel brand value, with USD 4.6 billion, reflecting a 23% increase. Its luxury portfolio includes Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, JW Marriott, and EDITION. Strategic growth efforts, such as launching Series by Marriott, have expanded its luxury offerings. Marriott’s loyalty program, Marriott Bonvoy, boasts 271 million members worldwide, enhancing customer retention and supporting brand growth in international markets. Marriott scored 83.4 on the BSI, earning an AAA- rating for brand strength.

Taj Hotels’ Brand Strength and Cultural Positioning

Taj Hotels enhances its brand value to USD 878 million, a 32% rise, maintaining its position as the strongest luxury hotel brand with

a BSI score of 93.5 and an AAA+ rating. The brand differentiates itself through authentic experience-led stays that integrate Indian heritage and personalized luxury services. Taj’s brand equity underscores its ability to deliver meaningful guest experiences while preserving its unique cultural identity in the global hospitality market.

Brand Finance, headquartered in London, conducted this annual evaluation of luxury hotel brands using an ISO-compliant methodology. Brand strength was measured through a balanced scorecard assessing marketing investment, stakeholder equity, and business performance. Brand values were calculated using the Royalty Relief approach, estimating future revenue attributable to each brand.
