Frontier Airlines Announces Four New Routes for Late 2026

Frontier Airlines announced on July 14, 2026, it will launch four new non-stop flight routes later in 2026. The new routes connect cities including Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Orlando, and San Juan as part of the airline’s network expansion.

Fare Details and Booking Deadlines

Fares for the new routes start at $69. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on July 20, 2026, to qualify for the sale prices. These fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days through January 4, 2027. Travel blackout periods include November 20-25 and 27-30, 2026; December 23-24, 26-27, and 30-31, 2026; and January 2-3, 2027.

A minimum advance purchase of 21 days is required, and round-trip purchase is not mandatory.

New Seating Options and Loyalty Program Enhancements

Under its “The New Frontier” initiative, Frontier Airlines will debut First Class seating in 2026, offering enhanced comfort at affordable prices. The airline also introduced UpFront Plus seating, featuring extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows with a guaranteed empty middle seat. Frontier Miles, the airline’s frequent flyer program, now awards 10 miles per dollar spent with multipliers up to 20 miles per dollar for elite members. Elite status is achieved at 10,000 points, granting benefits such as priority boarding, seat selection,

and free baggage. Elite members can also pool miles within families.

Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines, said, “We are committed to ensuring consumers have affordable travel options, and are pleased to announce these new routes which will connect many popular destinations, including Houston, Denver, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, San Juan, and more.” The new routes aim to expand low-fare travel options and increase service coverage in key markets.

Fleet and Technology Upgrades

Frontier operates one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets in the United States. The airline is investing in upgrades including the rollout of Starlink, the

fastest Wi-Fi available in the sky, and is enhancing customer experience through improved seating and loyalty benefits under The New Frontier initiative.
