American Airlines, along with several partner airlines including PSA, Air Algérie, Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, and Winair, experienced notable operational disruptions resulting in a significant number of flight delays and cancellations. In total, approximately 156 flights were delayed while 86 flights were cancelled amid this widespread interruption.

These disruptions impacted a range of airports in both the United States and internationally. Major airports affected include those in Dallas and Seattle within the US, as well as international hubs such as Algiers and Istanbul. The delays and cancellations left many passengers stranded across these locations, complicating travel plans and causing inconvenience.

While the full reasons behind the delays and cancellations have not been disclosed, the involvement of multiple airlines and the scope of affected airports indicates a broad impact on air travel operations. Passengers are advised to monitor updates from their airlines and airports for information on affected flights.
