The disturbances took place at two of the region’s main airports: Sydney Airport in Australia and Auckland Airport in New Zealand. Operations at these hubs were disrupted as the numerous affected flights were either delayed or cancelled on June 20.
As a result, hundreds of travelers encountered interruptions during their journeys due to these cancellations
