Flair Airlines has introduced the first nonstop commercial flight between Edmonton, Alberta, and Saint John, New Brunswick, starting June 15, 2027. The route will operate twice weekly with one-way fares beginning at $199 CAD. Tickets for the new direct service are on sale as of October 15, 2026.

Route Details, Pricing and Airports

The nonstop flights will connect Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and Saint John Airport (YSJ) in both directions. The twice-weekly service is scheduled to launch in mid-2027, offering an introductory fare starting at $199 CAD for one-way tickets. Booking opened on October 15, 2026.

Travel Convenience Improvement

Previously, travelers flying between Edmonton and Saint John had

to connect through Toronto. Flair Airlines officials note that Saint John ranks among Edmonton’s largest air travel markets in Atlantic Canada. The new nonstop route eliminates the Toronto layover, streamlining travel for business, tourism, and family visits between these cities.

Official Statements and Regional Impact

Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines, said, “We’re proud to be the first airline to connect Edmonton and Saint John nonstop, bringing two great Canadian cities closer together.” Court Edeburn, President and CEO of Saint John Airport, added, “Direct access to Edmonton opens new opportunities for tourism, business and families travelling between Atlantic and Western Canada.”

The route improves access

to Saint John’s regional attractions such as the Bay of Fundy, historic coastal communities, and southern New Brunswick. Travelers flying to Edmonton gain direct entry to city festivals, the river valley, and routes to the Canadian Rockies.
