Five American cruise passengers who were quarantined in Nebraska because of possible exposure to hantavirus have been permitted to return to their respective home states. This development comes after a period of health monitoring and quarantine at a Nebraska facility following their cruise ship voyage.
Currently, thirteen other passengers linked to the same exposure event remain under quarantine in Nebraska as health authorities continue to oversee the situation. This ongoing process reflects the precautionary measures in place to manage potential public health risks associated with cruise ship exposures.
