The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) will begin deploying the V-Pass facial recognition system at Nigerian domestic airports starting July 2026.
The nationwide rollout of this biometric technology is managed by FAAN to standardize passenger processing across all domestic airports. From July 2026 onwards, travelers at these locations will encounter facial recognition technology as part of the airport processing procedures.
