The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has implemented ground stops at seven major American Airlines hubs across the United States. These measures have disrupted normal flight operations at several key airport locations serving the carrier.

As a direct result of the FAA’s ground stops, American Airlines is currently facing the highest global rate of flight cancellations. This surge in cancellations is generating extensive delays and affecting numerous travelers operating through the airline’s primary hubs.
