This widespread disturbance affected numerous major airports and caused substantial inconvenience to travelers during the day.
Several prominent airlines faced operational challenges resulting in grounding of flights at key European hubs. Among those affected were Air France, ITA Airways, and Wizz Air Malta, with their flights impacted at important airports such as Milan, Rome, and Barcelona. The disruptions contributed to a large number of cancellations and delays, intensifying congestion at
these airports.
