On July 5, 2026, major airports across Europe experienced significant flight disruptions with a total of 325 cancellations and 3,899 delays. These disturbances affected key air travel hubs, leading to large-scale schedule interruptions throughout the day.
Several well-known European carriers were among those impacted. Lufthansa, Air France, easyJet, and Swiss Airlines saw numerous flights grounded or postponed, particularly at airports in Munich, Zurich, Paris, and Rome. Beyond these locations, travel disruptions were reported in Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Greece.
