Delta Air Lines will inaugurate the first nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Manila, Philippines, starting in March 2027. This launch marks the initial nonstop air connection between these two locations.
After the route’s introduction, Delta will be the sole U.S. airline to provide nonstop service from Los Angeles to Manila. The new service is part of the airline’s ongoing expansion of its Asia-Pacific network from LAX.
Delta’s Asia-Pacific Expansion from LAX
Jeff Arinder, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning, highlighted that customers traveling through Los Angeles benefit from the airline’s investments at LAX, including growth of the Asia-Pacific network and opening
a second Delta One Lounge. Arinder stated the Manila route enhances Delta’s world-class travel offerings and reinforces the airline’s standing as LAX’s leading global carrier and premier West Coast hub.

The nonstop service between LAX and Manila will provide travelers direct connectivity without layovers. Passengers will also experience improved amenities at LAX through Delta’s expansion efforts, such as the additional Delta One Lounge, enhancing the overall travel experience.
