Indian Railways has announced plans for a new bullet train that will link Delhi and Siliguri, taking a route through the key cities of Lucknow, Varanasi, and Patna. This high-speed rail line is designed to enhance connectivity between these destinations by offering a faster travel option for passengers.

Projected to shorten the journey significantly, the train is expected to cover the distance between Delhi and Siliguri in approximately six hours. This represents a substantial reduction compared to current travel times on this route. Details such as the official launch date, frequency of service, and ticket pricing have not yet been

disclosed.
