The California High-Speed Rail Authority has awarded a contract valued at $3.5 billion for the installation of track and electrified systems on the Central Valley portion of the state’s high-speed rail project.

Leading the consortium responsible for this extensive construction work is Kiewit, tasked with laying new electrified rail infrastructure that forms a critical part of the ongoing development of California’s high-speed rail line.
