
A contract valued at $3.5 billion has been granted for the installation of track and electrified systems along a key segment of the California High-Speed Rail project. This agreement represents a significant infrastructure development aimed at advancing the high-speed rail in the Central Valley region.
The agreement was awarded to a consortium led by the construction firm Kiewit. The contract specifically covers work on the Central Valley stretch of the rail network, marking an important phase in the project’s overall build-out.
