Stansted Airport will add nine new flight routes in 2026, increasing connectivity to Europe and Turkey. Turkish Airlines started service to Istanbul with up to 15 weekly flights.

United Airlines will add nonstop flights from Houston Bush airport to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Cartagena, and Caracas starting late 2026. The airline also opens a large new concourse with the biggest United Club lounge in the Americas.

Davao City saw 1,632,597 tourist arrivals from January to September 2026, an 11 percent increase over 2025. The City Tourism Operations Office reported this rise as part of Philippines tourism growth.
