Alaska Airlines has announced nonstop flights from the United States to Rome. Service begins in August 2026, linking the two locations directly.

Vietjet will start flights from Western Sydney International Airport to Ho Chi Minh City in January 2027 using Airbus A330s. Flight frequency will increase from twice weekly to thrice weekly by March 2027.

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport increased seat capacity by 11% in early 2026 and ranks first in U.S. cargo volume. New nonstop seasonal flights by Alaska Airlines, Southwest, and American Airlines began in spring and summer 2026.
