Allegiant Launches New Nonstop Flights at Tampa Bay Airports

Allegiant Air announced new nonstop routes from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport and Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in the Tampa Bay area to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Georgia and Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in New Hampshire.

Start Dates and Fare Details

Nonstop flights from St. Pete-Clearwater to Savannah/Hilton Head are scheduled to begin on November 15, 2026. Service from Sarasota-Bradenton to Portsmouth will start on November 23, 2026. Introductory one-way fares for the Savannah route start at $39, subject to availability and restrictions.

Allegiant’s Operational Presence and Business Model

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport serves as an operating base for Allegiant Air, which offers numerous nonstop routes nationwide. The airline also maintains

a significant presence at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Allegiant focuses on connecting smaller and mid-sized markets directly, typically bypassing major hub airports.

Network Expansion and Passenger Impact

The Tampa Bay additions are part of Allegiant’s broader expansion featuring 11 new nonstop routes across its network. These new flights provide Tampa Bay travelers with additional direct options to destinations in Georgia and New England, improving regional connectivity from two area airports.
