Southwest Airlines will launch seven new routes from Austin airport in June 2027, including three international flights. This expansion will offer travelers increased international travel options starting mid-2027.

Southwest Airlines added three new nonstop flights from Austin to Nassau, Punta Cana, and Liberia for summer 2027. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is also expanding with seven new or returning routes, including service to San José starting March 2027.

British Airways offers only one nonstop flight from London Heathrow to a major US city as of early October 2026. The exact US destination and reasons for this limited service remain undisclosed.
