Royal Caribbean has canceled all scheduled visits to Labadee, Haiti, for the entirety of 2026 across 12 of its ships. The cancellations result from ongoing violence in Haiti, substituting other Caribbean ports or sea days on affected itineraries.

Carnival Cruise Line started construction of Carnival Destiny, its first Ace class vessel, on July 10, 2026, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. The ship is set for a summer 2029 debut featuring numerous ocean-facing balcony cabins and innovative guest venues.
