Hyatt Hotels Corporation has cut the size of its select-service hotel prototypes to cut building costs by roughly 25%. The company targets over 300 U.S. submarkets and has a pipeline of 70+ Hyatt Studios hotels with over 8,200 rooms.

Travel + Leisure Co. partnered with Wyndham Hotels to create hotels under the Sports Illustrated Resorts brand. The deal was announced on October 5, 2026.

The Hanoi travel expo 2026, held April 9-12 at ICE Hanoi, saw elderly tourists aged 60-75 drive a surge in spending. Nearly 400 booths from over 600 businesses offered heavy discounts and packages.
