The Angola Convention Bureau, a newly created organization, is concentrating efforts on diversifying the country’s travel economy by enhancing sectors beyond oil. Its establishment marks an initiative to broaden Angola’s appeal in the non-oil travel markets.
Primarily, the bureau’s strategy centers on expanding business tourism, especially targeting meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) activities. This approach aims to develop Angola as a more competitive destination for business events, reducing reliance on the traditional oil industry.
