On July 1, 2026, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport experienced significant flight disruptions, with a total of 313 flights delayed and 27 flights cancelled. These disruptions affected a substantial number of travellers passing through one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs.
The delays and cancellations led to extended waiting periods and considerable inconvenience for many passengers at the airport. Thousands of travellers faced challenges in their travel plans as a result of the operational disturbances throughout the day.
