Amsterdam Schiphol Airport experienced significant operational challenges on July 9, 2026, as a total of 256 flights were delayed and 15 flights were cancelled. These disruptions affected numerous departures and arrivals scheduled at one of Europe’s busiest hubs.
Many of the impacted flights connected routes across Europe and Asia, resulting in considerable delays and cancellations that left several travelers stranded at the airport. Airlines were reported to be managing difficulties in maintaining their schedules due to these disruptions.
