Allegiant Airlines will begin nonstop service from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Orlando International Airport on February 12, 2027. One-way fares for the new route start at $49, offering travelers direct access to a major Florida destination without connecting flights.
Allegiant’s Growing Presence at CVG
Since its launch more than a decade ago, Allegiant has served 10 million customers at CVG, reaching this milestone in the summer of 2026. The airline now offers nonstop flights to 23 destinations from the Cincinnati airport. Recent expansions since 2025 include nonstop routes from CVG to Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California.
Official Statements and Business Model
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s
chief commercial officer, said the new Orlando route reflects the flexibility of Allegiant’s business model in responding to travel demand, especially during peak leisure periods. He stated, “We’re excited to announce this new route into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” Chad Summe, Board Chair of CVG Airport, noted Orlando as a consistently popular travel destination from the region and welcomed the continued service expansion. He said, “This summer marked Allegiant’s 10 millionth customer served at CVG since it launched more than a decade ago,
and the airline now serves 23 nonstop airport destinations.”
The new nonstop flights eliminate the need for connecting itineraries between Cincinnati and Orlando, improving convenience for travelers. While fares start at $49 one-way, the airline has stated that seats and dates for this pricing are limited and that optional baggage fees and other restrictions may apply.
