Allegiant Airlines announced it will add nine new flight routes to its network in early 2027. The majority of these routes are hyper-seasonal services aimed at connecting northern U.S. markets with warmer destinations in Florida, targeting demand spikes during peak leisure periods such as spring break.

New service start dates for Cincinnati and Grand Forks routes

The airline’s sole new year-round route will operate between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, starting February 12, 2027. Additionally, a seasonal route will link Grand Forks, North Dakota, with Sanford, Florida, running from February 10 through April 17, 2027.

New England to Florida hyper-seasonal routes

Alongside the Cincinnati and Grand Forks routes, Allegiant will introduce seven hyper-seasonal connections focused on

linking cities in the New England region with Florida destinations. Specific city pairs within New England and Florida for these routes have not been disclosed.

Drew Wells, Allegiant Airlines’ chief commercial officer, stated the expansions demonstrate the flexibility of the airline’s unique business model. He explained this approach allows Allegiant to adapt to demand fluctuations and increase travel options during high leisure travel periods.

Wells said, “We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” He added, “These new routes

reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”

Travelers departing from northern United States cities will benefit from additional nonstop flight options to popular Florida destinations beginning in early 2027, particularly during seasonal travel peaks.
