Allegiant Air will begin nonstop flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) on February 12, 2027. One-way fares will start at $49, though seat availability and dates for the discounted fares are limited.
Allegiant Air Route Expansion at CVG
Allegiant has operated at CVG for more than a decade and serves 23 nonstop destinations from the airport as of 2026. Since 2025, the airline has added nonstop flights from CVG to Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California in response to traveler demand.
Official Statements and Passenger Milestones
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the new nonstop Orlando route demonstrates the airline’s ability
to adapt to passenger demand and increase options during peak leisure travel periods. Chad Summe, Board Chair of CVG Airport, noted that Orlando remains one of the region’s top travel destinations and highlighted Allegiant’s milestone of serving 10 million customers at CVG by summer 2026.
“We’re excited to announce this new route into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most,” Wells said. Summe added, “This summer marked Allegiant’s 10 millionth customer served at CVG since it launched more than a decade ago, and the airline now
serves 23 nonstop airport destinations.”
The availability of a new nonstop flight to Orlando will provide travelers in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region with easier and more direct access to a major Florida vacation hub. Fares starting at $49 offer a low-cost option, although these prices apply only to limited seats and dates.
Allegiant’s flexible business model allows it to respond quickly to demand fluctuations and introduce new routes during peak travel seasons. Orlando’s consistent popularity as a destination from CVG supports the airline’s decision to launch nonstop service to the city in early 2027.
