Allegiant Air will begin operating nine new nonstop domestic routes in early 2027, with most designed as hyper-seasonal services connecting northern U.S. markets to warm-weather destinations.
Year-Round and Seasonal Route Launches
The airline will start year-round flights between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, on February 12, 2027. Additionally, a seasonal service from Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Sanford, Florida, is scheduled to run from February 10 through April 17, 2027.
New England to Florida Seasonal Routes
Alongside these routes, Allegiant will introduce seven other hyper-seasonal nonstop routes connecting points in New England with Florida, primarily targeting travel demand during the spring break period. Specific airport pairs and schedules for these seven
routes have not been disclosed.
These additions are part of Allegiant’s strategy to expand leisure travel options during peak periods, leveraging its business model’s flexibility to adjust to demand.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, said, “We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” He added, “These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”
The new nonstop services aim to increase direct
flight availability for travelers departing from northern markets to popular Florida destinations during high-demand times.
