Allegiant Air will introduce nine new routes to its network beginning in early 2027, primarily targeting spring break and peak leisure travel periods. Among these, eight routes are seasonal, including seven connecting New England points with Florida, while one route will operate year-round.
Named Routes and Dates
The only new year-round service announced is between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, launching on February 12, 2027. Seasonal flights between Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sanford, Florida, will run from February 10 to April 17, 2027. The remaining seven routes serve New England airports to Florida destinations, starting in early 2027, though their exact launch dates
were not specified.
Purpose Behind Expansion
Allegiant is expanding its route network to respond to increased demand during spring break and other peak leisure periods. These newly added flights seek to provide more nonstop travel options from northern markets to warmer destinations in Florida.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, said the new routes demonstrate the airline’s flexible business model. He noted the company’s ability to adapt quickly by offering seasonal and hyper-seasonal services tailored to market demand.
“We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they
want to visit most,” Wells said. He added, “These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”
